Mansfield District Council sought to enhance the security of a block of 18 flats with three entrances. Bamford Doors are manufactured from 100% recyclable aluminium, which prevents rust but also provides residents with a strong, lightweight and aesthetically pleasing secure entrance door. Mansfield decided on a modular type door with two tone grey RAL.
In June 2024, the doors were installed and Intratone UK Ltd supplied the DD-02 Door Entry System which was installed by Direct Systems. This modern solution eliminates the need for hardwired handsets, allowing tenants to manage access directly through their mobiles or landlines. This seamless upgrade not only improves security but also enhances the overall living experience for residents.
